COLUMBUS – Ohio Gov. John Kasich and his counterpart in Illinois have made their on the World Series between the Indians and Cubs, which gets underway Tuesday night in Cleveland.
In a Monday tweet on his Twitter page, Republican Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner wagered an extra-large Chicago-style deep-dish pizza and a case of microbrew beer from Chicago if the Indians win.
In a response on his Twitter page, Kasich says he would send Rauner “fan favorites” should the Cubs win: Great Lakes Brewing Company beer, Bertman Original Ball Park Mustard and other products from Cleveland, according to a report at Cleveland.com.
It’s on! @Indians vs. @Cubs in the #WorldSeries. I’m ready to enjoy some Chicago deep dish from my friend @GovRauner. #RallyTogether pic.twitter.com/KeiIZT5gcD

They’re not the only lawmakers making wagers. Ohio U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown bet Illinois U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin a case of Platform Beer on the Indians.
