“Hard Knocks” cameras turn to Browns

CLEVELAND (AP) — The Cleveland Browns are becoming summer TV stars.

The team has agreed to appear on HBO’s award-winning “Hard Knocks” series, which gives NFL fans a behind-the-scenes look into a team’s training camp.

The five-week 13th edition of the series debuts Tues., Aug. 7 at 10:00 p.m. and continues every Tuesday, with encore airings Wednesday nights, culminating in the Sept. 4 season finale.

The Browns accepted the chance to be on the series after turning it down several times previously.

HBO’s cameras will likely be focused on the quarterback competition between rookie No. 1 pick Baker Mayfield and Tyrod Taylor.
