INDIVIDUALS NEEDING ASSISTANCE

RED CROSS: If you, or someone you know, needs Red Cross assistance, please call 1-800-RedCross.

UNITED WAY: During natural or human-caused disasters, United Ways in Ohio and around the country and the world quickly mobilize resources to support individuals and families when it’s most needed. For assistance during or following a disaster, call 2-1-1 to be connected to services such as shelters, emergency food, medical care, clean-up services and access to government programs.

DONATE

Financial donations are the quickest and best way to support people impacted by disasters. People can help those affected by disasters like last week’s tornadoes and countless other crises by making a donation to support Red Cross Disaster Relief at the Red Cross websiite, call 1-800-REDCROSS or text the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.

United Way of Central Ohio will direct donors to emergency relief funds set up by the United Way closest to a disaster so donations can quickly and effectively support local response efforts related to a specific disaster.

VOLUNTEER

You can make a significant impact as a Red Cross volunteer. Review their most urgently needed volunteer positions and start the process of becoming a Red Cross volunteer.
