Hilltop boy missing

COLUMBUS – Police are looking for a 9-year-old West Side boy who has been missing since noon Wednesday.

UPDATE: Charles was recovered safely Thursday morning and was reunited with his family.

Charles Roebuck was reported missing at 2:24 a.m. Thursday by his grandmother, who said she last saw him in the area of Clarendon Avenue and Palmetto Street on the Hilltop, when he missing on his bicycle to go to a neighborhood store, Sgt. Dennis Fox, of the Missing Persons Unit, said.

Police say Charles was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans shorts and Nike shoes. He may be riding a BMX-style bicycle with duct tape on it, Fox said.

Charles is described as 4’8″ tall, weighing 50 lbs. with brown hair and eyes.
