COLUMBUS – The time it took to sell a home in Columbus last month dropped to its lowest point on record.
According to data from the Columbus Realtors Multiple Listing Service, homes in the central Ohio market took an average of 14 days to sell after their listings.
Homes under $350,000 accounted 68.4% of the sales, and they sold in an average of 11 days.
The median sale price was 18% higher than last year at $275,000.
Homes sales also rose 18.1% year over year and 7.1% from April, fed by a 21% increase in listings from a year ago and almost 8% percent from the previous month.
