COLUMBUS, Ohio – Police don’t have much to go on in their investigation into the murder of a man whose body was found lying in a backyard Monday afternoon.
Neighbors reported hearing several gunshots coming from the rear of 1855 Pannell Avenue, on the Southeast Side, just before 4:00 p.m. and when one of the people who lived there looked out a window she saw the body of Roderick Davis, 26, lying in the yard behind 1855 Pannell Avenue, police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
This is the 32nd homicide of the year in Columbus.
