COLUMBUS – Police say they are treating the death of a man whose body was found in a South Linden alley Friday afternoon as a homicide.
Columbus Homicide Unit detectives and an Investigator from the Franklin County Coroner’s Office responded to a report of a body lying in the alley at the rear of 2223 Hamilton Avenue at 1:33 p.m., homicide unit Sgt. Eric Pilya said.
An autopsy was performed on the body of Anthony Kelley, 31, on Saturday and, as a result, Pilya says Kelly’s death is being investigated as a homicide, the 44th of 2019 in Columbus.
