How much is that doggie? A lot

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is asking for tips in the theft of a puppy from a Northwest Side pet store earlier this month.

This was no ordinary puppy.

Police say the purebred Victorian bulldog is worth about $4,500.

Detectives say a woman walked into the Petland store at 2620 Bethel Road at approximately 6:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7. She walked up to a girl holding the puppy, asked to see it and made off with the dog.

Police say this is the third suchg high-profile animal theft from a Prtland store.
