COLUMBUS, Ohio – Highway construction crews begin working this week on a massive project to revamp the I-270/US 33 interchange in Dublin.
This is the first phase of a project scheduled to continue until 2017, according to officials from the Ohio Department of Transportation.
Beginning Sunday night, a section of U.S. Route 33 will close for four months as old bridges are demolished and new ones constructed.

ODOT says the $70 million project will improve safety and reduce congestion by eliminating weaving and merging.
The work zones extend north to the Scioto River, south to Tuttle Crossing Boulevard, east to Post/Frantz Roads and west past the Avery-Muirfield Drive interchange.
