COLUMBUS, Ohio – A key freeway ramp that connects the East Side to the OSU campus and the Northwest Side reopens in time for Monday morning’s rush hour.
The Ohio Department of Transportation says, weather permitting, the ramp from I-70 West to SR 315 North, which has been closed since mid-August, will reopen by 5:00 a.m. though crews will close I-70 and more than a half dozen ramps to remove the barricades, barrels and detour signs.

The $650,000 project replaced the entire bridge deck after crews discovered earlier this summer that more than 75 percent of the road surface had deteriorated, ODOT spokeswoman Nancy Burton said.
