Indiana man pleads guilty to bomb possession

COLUMBUS, Ohio – An Indiana National Guardsman pulled over on a central Ohio highway on New Year’s Day pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court to charges of possessing destructive devices.

Andrew Scott Boguslawski, 44, of Moores Hill, Ind., was stopped by an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper on I-70 in Madison County with bombs and bomb-making parts in his car.

Boguslawski pled guilty to being in possession of 13 unregistered destructive devices: Nine fully-assembled devices and the parts for four more, according to a release from the office of U.S. Attorney Carter Stewart.

Boguslawski was charged on state charges, which were dropped when he was charged by a federal complaint on March 3.
