Indians 10, Clippers 4

INDIANAPOLIS – A three-run home run by Josh Palacios highlighted a five-run inning for Indianapolis as the Indians beat the Clippers, 10-4, in the opening game of a series Tuesday night at Victory Field.

Palacios’ blast off Columbus starter Daniel Norris (0-2) helped Indianapolis to take a 6-0 lead.

Zack Collins hit two homers for the Clippers and Jhonkensy Noel added a solo shot in the ninth.

Kent Emanuel (1-1) pitched four shutout innings in relief for the win.
