Corey Kluber pitched a three-hitter for his fifth career shutout and Jason Kipnis and Carlos Santana homered for the Indians.

Santana and Austin Jackson had three RBIs apiece for the AL Central leaders, whose recent surge has lifted them to a season-best six games over .500.

The Indians placed outfielder Michael Brantley on the 10-day disabled list with a sprained right ankle. Brantley injured the ankle earlier this month and aggravated it last week. So, upon returning from the paternity list yesterday, he was moved to the DL.
