Indians 4, Clippers 1

COLUMBUS – Starter Tyler Glasnow held Columbus to one run in a 4-1 loss to Indianapolis on Tuesday at Victory Field in front of a crowd of 11,646 fans.

With two outs in the bottom of the first inning, the Indians rocked Clippers starter Ross Detwiler for five straight hits, which included two triples and three singles, to give themselves an early 3-0 lead.

After 14 scoreless innings dating back to Monday night’s shutout loss, the Clippers finally got on the board in the top of the sixth inning when Yandy Diaz brought Erik Gonzalez home from third with a ground out.
