Indians 5, Clippers 3

COLUMBUS – The Clippers blundered home the go-ahead run in the fourth inning Monday night in a 5-3 loss to Indianapolis.

With the score tied at 2-2, Sao-Chin Chang (0-3) issued a two-out walk to Jake Elmore who advanced when a pickoff throw went awry and then scored on a balk.

The Indians scored runs in the sixth and seventh innings before the Clippers managed a run in the ninth on a solo homer by Eric Haase, who went 1-for-3 during the game with two runs scored.

Dario Agrazi (1-0) got the win for Indianapolis.

The two teams resume their three-game series at Victory Field Tuesday morning.
