CLEVELAND (AP) — Francisco Lindor hit a three-run homer with two outs in the ninth inning to give the Indians a 5-2 win over the Minnesota Twins.
The Indians’ lead in the AL Central is back to 10 games.
Lindor, who struck out with the tying run on second in the ninth to end a loss on Tuesday, drove the first pitch from Trevor Hildenberger over the wall in right to set off a wild celebration.
Cleveland closer Cody Allen blew a 2-1 lead in the ninth but wound up getting the win.
