COLUMBUS – Indianapolis won three games out of a four-game series at Huntington Park, beating Columbus 7-4 in the finale Sunday.
By winning the series, the Indians narrowed the gap between themselves and the Clippers in the International League West to nine games.
A three-run home run by Pablo Reyes led the Indians’ four-run rally in the fifth inning.
Ryan Flaherty hit a three-run homer in the first inning for Columbus off starter Alex McRae (6-6), who still got the win for Indianapolis.
Starter Mitch Talbot (2-2) was responsible for the go-ahead run and took the loss for Columbus.
The Clippers travel to Scranton for four games starting Monday night.
