COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Clippers lost to the Indianapolis Indians 7-5 Sunday evening to earn a split of a 10-game series.
Columbus lost three of four at Huntington Park after taking four of six in Indy and fell to two games behind the Indians in the International League West division.
Vin Mazarro (4-3) picked up the win out of the bullpen while J.C. Ramirez (1-2) took the loss.
The Indians scored three unearned runs in the eighth to take a 6-5 lead.
Columbus begins a four-game series at Louisville Monday.
