Indians clinch AL Central

CLEVELAND (AP) — The Indians are the first major league team to wrap up a division title, clinching the AL Central with a 15-0 trouncing of Detroit.

Michael Brantley and Francisco Lindor belted first-inning homers and Yonder Alonso added a two-run shot in the third.

Alonso and Jose Ramirez each had three hits and two RBIs for the Indians, who have owned a double-digit lead in the division race since Aug. 8.
