BALTIMORE (AP) — Carlos Carrasco struck out 10, Francisco Lindor homered and the Indians defeated the skidding Baltimore Orioles 5-1 Wednedsday night.
It was the seventh win in eight games for the defending American League champs.
Carrasco allowed seven hits and walked none over six-plus innings to win his third straight start.
The right-hander struck out every Baltimore starter except Trey Mancini to reach double figures in strikeouts for the 11th time in his career.
The Indians and the Minnesota Twins will play a two-game series at San Juan on April 17th and 18th, Major League Baseball’s first regular-season games in Puerto Rico since 2010.
The commissioner’s office announced the games yesterday.
The Twins will be the home team.
