COLUMBUS – Lehigh Valley’s seven-run rally in the bottom of the fifth inning put the IronPigs ahead to stay in an 8-4 victory over the Clippers Wednesday night.
Ricardo Pinto (1-1) picked up his first win at the AAA level while Adam Plutko (0-2) took the loss for Columbus.
The teams play the rubber game of the series Thursday morning at Coca-Cola Park.
