COLUMBUS – Withering heat that has been working its way across the nation’s mid-section for the last several days is about to descend on central Ohio.
The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for parts of central, western and southern Ohio from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, when heat index values are forecast to reach into the triple digits.
