CLEVELAND (AP) — LeBron James has said “thanks” to Toronto for hosting this weekend’s All-Star game in a big way.
The Cavaliers forward has surprised school kids in the city by giving them new team uniforms through his James’ family foundation.
The new uniforms go to a number of schools for 23 teams in a variety of sports.
James also brought student “ambassadors” from Ohio to assist in the giveaway and to volunteer for a day at Variety Village, an organization in Toronto providing programs to help disabled youngsters. The 23 Ohio students had never been out of the United States.
