COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Clippers lost to the Charlotte Knights 4-2 Monday night.
Columbus had only three hits and struck out 13 times as they were dominated by Deunte Heath (2-1) who did not allow a hit through the first four innings and gave up only one run.
Tyler Cloyd (3-4) allowed three runs in the loss.
The Clippers go for the series win at Charlotte at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday, the final game of a 10-game road trip.
