CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Clippers are facing a series sweep at the hands of the Charlotte Knights after a 5-4 loss at BB&T Ballpark Wednesday.
Tyler Ladendorf singled home Jacob May in the bottom of the 11th inning to give the Knights the 5-4 walk-off win in game three of a four-game series between the two teams.
The win was Charlotte’s fifth straight while the loss was the fourth in five games for Columbus.
Colton Turner (1-1) tossed a scoreless 11th inning to earn the win while Chris Narveson (4-6) took the loss for the Clippers.
The series finale is scheduled for Thursday night.
