CLEVELAND (AP) — LeBron James is expected to miss the next two weeks because of a strained left knee and back problem.
Following a physical and an exam, James will be treated with “anti-inflammatories, rehabilitation, training room treatments and rest,” the Cavaliers said on Thursday.
James has missed Cleveland’s last two games. If the two-week estimate proves correct, it will be the longest string of games James has missed in his NBA career. He missed five straight early in the 2007-08 season.
The NBA’s four-time MVP is averaging 25.2 points this season, second best in the league.
