Lewis’s future uncertain

BALTIMORE (AP) — The Bengals bounced the Baltimore Ravens from the playoff hunt in stunning fashion, using a 49-yard touchdown pass from Andy Dalton to Tyler Boyd with 44 seconds left to pull out a 31-27 victory Sunday.

Needing a win to advance to the postseason, Baltimore rallied from a 14-point deficit to take its first lead with 8:48 left. But Dalton has the last word.

Though it has been rumored that Marvin Lewis is ready to walk away from his job as coach of the Bengals after 15 seasons and 125 wins, he insists that’s not necessarily the case.

Lewis talked to owner Mike Brown about his future with the Bengals Monday, but they came to no conclusions and planned more discussions.

The Bengals failed to make the playoffs for the second straight season, and Lewis’ contract is ending after his 15th season in Cincinnati.
