COLUMBUS – An Ohio environmental activist group is using the popularity of Pokemon GO among young people to get them to exercise their franchise.
NextGen Climate Ohio is dropping what are known as “lures” in the game — which draw the cartoon monsters that are so actively sought by players.
When the players show up, the Democrat-backed group will have organizers around to talk to players about the importance of voting — and providing information on how to get registered.
