COLUMBUS – A 57-year-old man is in jail after Columbus police say he stabbed his roommate to death during an argument in their East Side duplex Monday night.

Gregory Alan Huish was charged with murder in the death of Ce’Mario Antonio Fletcher, according to Sgt. J.R. Strayer of the Homicide Unit.
Strayer says Huish and Fletcher, 20, were arguing at the home they shared on Stoddart Avenue at approximately 10:16 p.m. when Huish grabbed a knife and stabbed Fletcher in the chest.
Officer responding to the incident, which was originally reported as a shooting, found the injured man lying on the ground and Columbus paramedics transported him to Grant Medical Center where he died less than an hour later, Strayer said.
This is the 66th homicide of the year in Columbus.
