COLUMBUS – Police had named no suspects or given a motive behind a shooting that left a 19-year-old man dead on an East Side street late Monday night.
Officers responding to a report of an injured man in the street found Skyler Wagner lying on the pavement in the 1100 block of Barnett Road, just north of the intersection with E. Deshler Avenue at 11:25 p.m., Homicide Unit Sgt. Jeffrey Strayer said.
Wagner had been critically injured by a gunshot wound to the upper body and was taken to Grant Medical Center where he was pronounced dead about a half hour later, Strayer said.
