COLUMBUS – Police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead behind a South Side duplex Wednesday morning.
UPDATE: Jason Hicks, 38, and Anthony Robinson, 24, both of Detroit, have been charged with this murder but are currently not in custody.
Officers responding to a reported shooting in the 400 block of E. Markison Avenue just before noon Wednesday found Anthony Brown, who had been shot several times, Homicide Unit detectives said.
Brown, 46, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at 12:21 p.m.
This is the 75th Homicide of 2016 in Columbus.
