COLUMBUS – A hot, violent summer continued in Columbus with the death of a man on the Northeast Side late Wednesday night, the 68th homicide of the year in the city.
UPDATE: 7/17/20 7:01 a.m.: The victim has been identified as 20-year-old Tavion William Allen Walker
Officers investigating a reported shooting located the victim, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, in the alley in the rear of 1332 N. 4th Street at approximately 11:19 p.m., according to Sgt. David Shimberg of the Homicide Unit. He died later at a hospital.
