COLUMBUS – Police say they are looking for two suspects in a Hallowe’en night shooting on the Southeast Side that left a man dead.

Officers called to the Commons at Waters Edge apartment complex in the 4600 block of Refugee Road on a reported at 10:32 p.m. found Brian Woodson suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, Homicide Unit Sgt. Jeff Strayer said.
Woodson, 42, was pronounced dead at the 10:42 p.m., according to Strayer.
Witnesses told investigators they believed that Woodson was shot during a fight and that two suspects – described as black males in their late teens or early 20’s — were seen running away, Strayer said.
This is the 82nd homicide in Columbus in 2016.
