COLUMBUS – A 45-year-old man gunned down in Linden Wednesday night became the city’s 108th homicide victim.

Officers responding to a report that someone had been shot in the area of 1750 Kenmore Road at approximately 8:16 p.m. saw a vehicle fleeing the area that appeared to be involved, Sgt. Stanley Latta of the Homicide Unit said.
The officer determined that the vehicle was being driven by someone who was near Sean Boyd when he was shot and was carrying Boyd to OSU East Hospital, Latta said.
Boyd was pronounced dead at the hospital at 8:29 p.m., Latta said.
There were no known suspects or motives as of early Thursday morning, Latta said.
