COLUMBUS – Police have no suspects in the fatal shooting of a man found in a parked vehicle on an East Side street Friday afternoon.
Officers responding to a reported shooting in the 4400 block of Drifton Drive at 5:22 p.m. found Ronald Lee Bryant Jr., 25, seated inside a parked vehicle, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, said Sgt. J.R. Strayer of the Homicide Unit.
Bryant was pronounced dead at the scene by Columbus fire personnel.
The initial investigation was unable to uncover any motive or suspects, Strayer said.
The investigation continues.
This is the 75th homicide of the year in Columbus.
