COLUMBUS -A man whose body was found in a West Side alley early Monday was the victim of a hit-and-run, Columbus police said.
A passerby found Jeremy Coldiron in the alley east of Dana Avenue and south of Sullivant Avenue at 1:41 a.m. and called the police who located Coldiron, 40, in the alley, said Sgt. Brooke Wilson of the Accident Investigation Unit. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators believe Coldiron was struck by a vehicle that was eastbound in the alley between 12:30 and 1:41 a.m.
