COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus police are looking for the man who held up a Grandview bank at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon.
Police say the man walked into the Fifth Third Bank at 1349 W 5th Avenue at about 4:15 p.m. with a handgun, Columbus police Robbery Unit detectives said.
He handed the teller a drawstring bag and said, “Put the money in the bag, hurry up,” police said
The teller put money from his cash drawer into the bag and, the suspect fled.
Police describe the suspect as a black man in his 20’s or 30’s, 6’ to 6’4” tall with a medium build, facial hair and wearing a black canvas jacket, green baseball cap with dark hoody.
