COLUMBUS – Columbus police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found on a Hilltop street early Sunday morning.
HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION:
6/7/20@5:59am-officers were dispatched to the area in front of 362 S. Eureka Ave. on a male shot.
Officers located 39yo Dale Kendig suffering from a gunshot wound.

Officers dispatched to the 300 block of S. Eureka Avenue just before 6:00 a.m. found Dale Kendig, 39, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, said Sgt. David Shimberg of the Homicide Unit.
Kendig was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say the shooting followed a brief argument between the victim and the unknown suspect, Shiimberg said.
The investigation is continuing, Shimberg said.
This is the 47th homicide of the year in Columbus.
