COLUMBUS – For the 40th time, athletes and spectators will crowd into Columbus for the annual running of the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon & 1/2 Marathon.
The races begin Sunday morning downtown and organizers expect 18,000 participants from 45 states and 11 countries along with 100,000 spectators.

More than $8 million has been raised for Nationwide Children’s Hospital since the hospital became the title beneficiary of the event in 2012.
