COLUMBUS (AP) — Keita Bates-Diop, Jae’Sean Tate and Micah Potter scored 17 points apiece to help Ohio State hold off Texas Southern for an 82-64 win.
Bates-Diop added 12 rebounds.
Prior to the game, freshman Kaleb Wesson was suspended for what head coach Chris Holtmann described as “a failure to meet the expectations of the men’s basketball program.”
“This is specifically regarding time management and will be a one-game suspension,” Holtmann said in a statement released by the Department of Athletics.
