COLUMBUS – A federal prosecutor says the militia group accused of plotting to kidnap Michigan’s governor also proposed an attack on governors from other states, including Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine.
Fourteen people have been charged in the plot, which originated partly during meetings in central Ohio.
According to a report by WBNS 10-TV, court documents indicate the plotters planned to target Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, DeWine and the governor of Virginia.
