COLUMBUS – A goal by Gyasi Zardes in the 61st minute marked the difference in Columbus Crew SC’s 1-0 victory over the New York Red Bulls in Leg 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals Sunday at MAPFRE Stadium.
The tally marked the Zardes’ 20th of the season and third of his postseason career.
The two teams meet again at Red Bull Arena on Sunday.
