COLUMBUS, Ohio – A Columbus man will remain in jail, awaiting trial, while investigators continue to probe his distaste for authority.
Franklin County sheriff’s deputies went back to Mark Kulis’s home yesterday and found more apparent bombs, booby traps and anti-government writings.
Mark Kulis pleaded not guilty to a host of charges yesterday, a day after explosive devices were found in his house on Carolyn Avenue during an eviction proceeding.
Kulis is a self-described “sovereign citizen,” meaning he refuses to acknowledge the government’s right to tax him or enforce its laws.
