COLUMBUS – One man is under arrest but Columbus police say there are additional suspects in the death of a man found in a German Village home Tuesday afternoon.
Officers responding to a call at a house in the 1300 block of Kossuth Street at approximately 4:29 p.m. found Calvin Jimerson, 49, inside. He appeared lifeless and was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:45 p.m., according to homicide unit detectives.
Investigators gathering information from witnesses identified Mikeelo Jackson, whose address was in the North Linden neighborhood. He was arrested on a murder charge without incident on E. Stanley Avenue, a few blocks away from the scene of the crime, detectives said.
Police say other suspects are being investigated.
