COLUMBUS, Ohio – Another blast of winter is heading for weather-weary central Ohio.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory (above) for tonight through tomorrow evening, with 4-6 inches of snow expected in some areas in less than 24 hours.
The weather service says central Ohio has set a record for snowiest first ten days of December with nearly 9 inches recorded.

Forecasters say the snow will begin after midnight tonight, with 1-2 inches possible (see map, above). A mix of rain and snow Saturday will change over to all rain likely between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., then back to rain and snow with 103 inches of new snow accumulation possible.
The chance of more snow next week is slight, but temperatures will remain mostly below freezing.
