COLUMBUS – Columbus police are looking for a woman they say is responsible for the death of her toddler son last October.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Tina Dayton, 22, on one count of murder in the death of 2-year-old Clifford Stark III in a Southeast Side apartment on Oct. 7, homicide detectives said.
Officers called to the apartment in the 4600 block of Refugee Road on a report of an injured child found Clifford Stark, who was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
Clifford was pronounced dead the following day and autopsy results returned by the Franklin County Coroner’s Office on Feb. 27 revealed that Clifford’s death was ruled a homicide.
Police believe Dayton is most likely in the company of Clifford Stark, Jr.
