COLUMBUS, Ohio – Investigators say neither drugs nor alcohol appear to be a factor in a crash that left two people dead on the Northeast Side Monday morning.

Nikitesha Lewis, 19, was trying to make a left turn in the Hyundai Sonata she was driving from southbound Westerville Road onto Albert Avenue in Clinton Township just before 10:00 a.m. when a motorcycle struck the front passenger door, Franklin County Sheriff Zach Scott said.
Lewis’s 24-year-old sister, Laquita, was in the passenger seat and was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital where she died, Scott said.
Scott says the motorcyclist, Jonathan Kelley, 29, of Columbus was pronounced dead at the scene.
The motorcycle 2000 Yamaha YZF46 had been reported stolen by Columbus Police Department in May, Scott says.
