Mud Hens 10, Clippers 4

COLUMBUS – Home runs by Willi Castro, Mikie Mahtook and Danny Woodrow were the highlights of a 15-hit attack that powered Toledo past the Clippers, 10-4, Wednesday night to even their three-game series at a game apiece.

Castro’s three-run homer to right-center field and Mahtook’s solo shot gave the Mud Hens a 6-1 lead after six innings and Woodrow’s three-run home run in the eighth helped seal the win for Toledo

Matt Hall (3-2) got the win while Clippers starter Cody Anderson (0-1) took the loss for the Clippers.

The two teams conclude their series at Huntington Park Thursday morning.
