TOLEDO – Ricardo Pinto and Angel DeJesus kept the Clippers off the scoreboard until the ninth inning as the Mud Hens beat Columbus, 4-2, Thursday.
Pinto (3-1) struck out seven while giving up only three hit over seven shutout innings. DeJesus gave up two runs in the ninth but notched his first save.
Anthony Gose (3-1) took the loss for the Clippers.
