COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Clippers were held in check offensively and Toledo rallied for three runs in the ninth to beat Columbus 6-2 at Huntington Park Wednesday.
The Clippers still lead the International League West by five games over Indianapolis.
Clippers starter Tyler Cloyd (10-8) went seven innings in the loss while Kyle Ryan (2-0 allowed only one run in his seven innings of work on the way to the win.
The Clippers head into Louisville to face the Bats Thursday night at 7:05 p.m.
